On 18 March 2026, mEATquality took part in a joint event at the European Parliament, together with the sister projects PATHWAYS, INTAQT and CODE REFARM, kindly hosted by MEP Benoit Cassart. Policymakers, researchers and foodchain stakeholders gathered to reflect on how Europe can guide its livestock systems toward 2030, discussing themes such as authenticity, consumer expectations, economic sustainability, and the upcoming EU livestock strategy. The event featured contributions from all four projects, a lively panel discussion informed by audience input, and insights into the diverse pathways that can support a more sustainable and trusted livestock sector.
